It's pathetic that a group of people (and I'm guessing many aren't parents) are intolerant, especially about an assembly designed to teach young children about tolerance. I'm guessing that many of those parents who are claiming that they intend to teach their children about sex, tolerance, etc. will only "groom" their kids to be intolerant toward other children who may have non "traditional" -- meaning one dad and one mom -- parents, and to teach them to be bullies.

I'm sorry you were unfairly targeted by police like that. I didn't read the Daily News article in which LAPD was praised, but I suggest you prepare a LTE or editorial that counters whatever was said, as threatening to arrest a victim is so inappropriate.
